In December 2007 we revised our original full length ballet - The Nutcracker, The role of Clara was shared by Hannah Lawson and Lily Bowker-Wright and lead roles were taken by Holly Hibberd (The Nutcracker), Shirley-Anne Rabe (Sugar-plum fairy), Rob Sutherland (Drosselmeyer), Claire Durrant (Snow queen) and Elizabeth Fenn-Tye (King rat).
Four sell-out performances delighted audiences at Clair Hall, Haywards Heath, setting the scene for a wonderful christmas adventure through the kindom of snow into the kingdom of sweets. Pupils took the roles of party goers and household staff at the grand christmas eve party, soldiers and mice in the dramatic battle scene, skaters, snowflakes and icicles in the kingdom of snow and Chinese, arabian, spanish and russian dancers joined the sweets and waltz of the flowers in the kingdom of sweets.
