In April 2007 Catriona Lovie became our first Cinderella, joined by her step-sisters, played by Emma Morley and Emma Windsor and wicked step-mother Alice Jordan. Holly Hibberd played the Fairy Godmother and Rob Sutherland the Prince. Cinderella was joined on stage by her friends and forest animals, but after her sisters left for the ball her Fairy Godmother introduced her to Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Fairies who danced for her. She was instructed to bring 6 mice, a rat, 4 lizards and a pumpkin which were transformed into horses, a coachman, footmen and a beautiful golden coach to take Cinderella to the ball. In Act II Cinderella was presented to the Prince and the other ball guests, Jesters danced for them and when the ball was over stars lit Cinderella's way home. Once reunited Cinderella and her Prince were joined at their wedding by bridesmaids and pageboys for a final celebration.
